We first started Reviewbox to help manufacturers monitor their Amazon reviews, and that's still one of our core strengths. Since then we've added a ton of new features and the ability to track other popular e-commerce sites. Managing your reviews can help improve your brand presence, improve your customer service, and point to areas to improve your product. In this post, we're going to walk through how to get started with Reviewbox and how to take advantage of all of our features.
To use Reviewbox, you'll first need to upload some products. You can add your products individually by clicking on Add Product, or you can upload a CSV file containing a list of the ASINs/SKUs you want to add. In order to help you keep your catalog organized, Reviewbox supports uploading custom fields. These columns can be used to subset, sort, or filter your data quickly.
Managing Reviews and Questions
Once you have some data uploaded, it's time to start responding to your reviews and questions. You can do this by going to the Reviews section. On this screen you'll see how many reviews and questions you have for your entire catalog.
Before diving into the data you may want to update the date range you want to view. We provide several handy timesframes and the ability to specify a custom range. Once you've selected the timeframe, you'll be able to view the complete review text, author information, if it's a verified purchase, and if there are any images or videos associated with each review.
Once you've found a review you want to comment on, you can click Leave Reply, which redirects you to the specific review page where you can write a response.
Afterwards you may want to use the Status field to keep track of which reviews and questions you've responded to. We've also added a Notes field where you can leave notes for other team members or yourself. You can even save your review response here!
In addition to the web dashboard, Reviewbox also comes with daily email notifications which contain links to your reviews and questions so that you can respond from the email directly.
Exporting Your Data
If you've read any of our other posts, you know we love data and making it available to you. With your reviews and questions, it's no different. If you'd like to export your review or question data, simply select the timeframe of interest under Date Range and click Export Reviews. You will then be provided with a link that will allow you to download your export.
Setting Up Auto Exports
You may want to set up these exports to run automatically so they can be delivered to your inbox daily or weekly. You can do this by going to Exports and clicking on Create Auto Export. Here you can select what kind of export you'd like to run, how often you'd like to run it, and any filters you'd like to apply to the data.
